How you will contribute to our success

From day one, you’ll have the space to take initiative, make real contributions, and help move our Partnership team and product forward. We’re looking for a hands-on, structured, and strategically minded Technical Partner Manager to act as the interface between our Global Partnerships, Product, and Engineering teams, and to help scale our partner ecosystem in a sustainable and high-quality way.

Partnership Strategy & Technical Ownership: Contribute to the strategic development of Smoobu’s partner ecosystem by providing technical validation and API-level insights that support OTA relationships (e.g. Airbnb, Booking, VRBO) and the expansion of partner integrations and the expansion of the Add-on offering (partner integrations and additional product capabilities), including go-to-market readiness and monetization feasibility.

Technical Partner Interface & Ownership: Own partner-related technical topics and act as the primary interface between the Partnerships team and Product & Engineering, ensuring clear translation of technical needs, issues, and requirements.

Technical Support & Integration Success: Support complex and escalated partner integrations, ensure high-quality implementation, and turn recurring issues into scalable, long-term solutions.

Product & Platform Contribution: Provide structured partner-driven insights to product teams, contributing to roadmap discussions, prioritization, and continuous platform improvements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster close relationships with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Engineering and other relevant teams to understand partner and customer challenges, improve workflows, and drive initiatives for product enhancements and improvements.

Operational Excellence & Scalability: Implement clear processes, documentation, and best practices to enable efficient partner integrations and sustainable growth.

You will thrive in this role if you

  • 5+ years of experience in SaaS environments, ideally in technical support, integrations, technical account management, product support, or partner-facing roles.

  • Proven track record owning partner- or customer-facing technical topics, including API-based integrations and cross-functional collaboration with Product and Engineering.

  • Hands-on, proactive, and comfortable navigating ambiguity to independently develop structured and scalable solutions.

  • Skilled at working with both commercial and technical stakeholders, balancing partner needs with platform and product priorities.

  • Comfortable taking ownership in a senior individual contributor with broad responsibility.

  • Communicates clearly, confidently, and empathetically in English (written and spoken); German is a plus.

  • Brings focus and clarity to complex topics while delivering practical, outcome-oriented solutions.

  • Thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments and prioritizes effectively across multiple stakeholders.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in OTA, vacation rental, or marketplace partnerships

  • Background in commercial SaaS, SMB tech, or API ecosystems.

Recruitment Process

  • 30-minute call with a recruiter

  • 45-60 minute call with your future manager

  • 45–60 minute stakeholder panel assessment focusing on technical and product understanding, as well as commercial and strategic thinking. This step may include a discussion of a take-home assignment, which you may be asked to prepare in advance

  • 30-minute call with your future team members
