Life at Smoobu

At Smoobu, we are building more than just software. We empower everyday people to become successful entrepreneurs by helping them manage their vacation rentals simply and efficiently. Our platform supports over 100,000 properties in 120+ countries, enabling hosts to grow their businesses confidently and efficiently.
That kind of impact doesn’t come from playing it safe; it comes from people who take ownership, act purposefully, and work together to make things happen.

How you will contribute to our success

As a Product Manager in Core Engagement, you’ll join an empowered, cross-functional team driven by a single goal: making our platform the most intuitive, easy-to-use solution on the market.
You will help shape our product strategy and drive measurable outcomes by solving real host problems. Grounded in data and championing the host perspective, you will build a cohesive core experience that balances quick wins with long-term strategic bets to save our hosts time, remove friction, and help them grow their business.

Your Day-to-Day Impact:
  • Drive product operations fluidly, from dailies and planning to PRDs and quarterly goal setting.
  • Prioritize measurable business outcomes and winning with the product over mere feature output.
  • Advocate for our hosts by pairing deep product expertise with sharp customer empathy to simplify complex workflows and drive their success.
  • Engage with customers constantly to put prototypes in front of real users and ensure consistent improvements over fast iterations.
  • Validate hypotheses quickly, moving fast rather than relying on month-long research projects.
  • Apply a rigorous analytical mindset to track core product metrics and make grounded trade-off decisions.
  • Leverage modern AI tools to accelerate internal workflows, including PRD drafting and rapid design in Figma.
  • Integrate agentic experiences into the platform where they naturally enhance existing user behaviors.

You will thrive in this role if you

  • Bring 2-3 years of product management experience, ideally building B2B SaaS or SMB tech in a high-velocity environment.
  • Demonstrate a growth mindset and true ownership by identifying opportunities and executing with urgency until the core problem is solved.
  • Navigate ambiguity using a robust toolbox of qualitative and quantitative discovery methods to eliminate low-return ideas early. You combine this with sharp product judgment to eliminate low-return ideas early and make smart trade-offs.
  • Communicate technical concepts effectively, possessing enough understanding to engage in eye-level discussions with engineers.
  • Embrace the evolution of product management in the age of AI by integrating time-saving agentic experiences into workflows.
  • Build trust as an authentic, reliable teammate through clear communication and honest feedback.
